I got to lay my hands on the Nokia N96, a couple of days back as my friend had just purchased it. I just couldn't keep my hands of it, what with its super cool features and high-end technologies. The dual slide opening is one of the coolest features of this gadget. It measures 103mm tall by 55mm wide by 18mm thick & its total weight is a mere 125 grams.
This sleek phone is embedded with an internal memory of 16 GB, 128 MB of RAM and 256 MB of ROM memory and external phone memory can be expended further by using a memory cards. The battery back up is really good and offers up to 3 hours of talk-time and up to 220 hours of standby-time with a single charge. The large and wide 2.8 inch colour screen displays up to sixteen million colours on a QVGA LCD screen with a screen resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.
The N96 is equipped with a 5 MP camera that comes along with autofocus, video recorder, video streaming and digital zoom features.
